Cooperation between Kutaisi International University and "Quantori" commences

Kutaisi International University (KIU) and the tech company "Quantori" have officially esteblished collaboration. A memorandum of cooperation was signed by KIU rector Alexander Tevzadze and Sandro Songhulashvili, director of "Quantori" Georgia.

"Today we signed a memorandum of cooperation with the company "Quantori". We actively cooperate with the private sector in order to develop the undergraduate programs of Kutaisi International University and to provide students with practical experience. Within the framework of the new partnership, students of KIU's computer science program will have the opportunity to consolidate the theoretical knowledge acquired at the university in practice and undergo an internship at an international tech company", - noted the rector of Kutaisi International University, Alexander Tevzadze.

The primary objectives of this collaboration include advancing the development of human capital in Georgia, facilitating the exchange of expertise among professionals and students, and cultivating future qualified personnel. Both KIU and "Quantori" are committed to implementing innovative programs that address contemporary challenges and meet the evolving demands of the industry. The memorandum outlines plans to support KIU students in training, skill enhancement, and employment opportunities, both locally and internationally.

We are glad to have signed a memorandum of cooperation with one of the leading IT companies operating in Georgia, which will offer employment and internship programs to our students in the future. Also, within the framework of the partnership, we will have the opportunity to implement joint projects, which will contribute to the development of the field of information technologies", highlighted Chancellor of Kutaisi International University Magda Magradze.

Following the memorandum signing, representatives from "Quantori" conducted a seminar for KIU students. The session covered insights into the organization's work principles, international IT company approaches, and the essential requirements and challenges for securing employment in the field. The event concluded with a quiz, and the "Quantori" team awarded prizes to the winning students.
