Cyber Security Training Program
The goal of Kutaisi International University (KIU) is to provide various professional development programs, training courses, and workshops. In 2023, KIU received funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under the Industry-led Skills Development Program to establish and implement a cyber security training program. As a result, three different-level short-term cyber security training courses were created: Fundamentals of Cyber security, Ethical Hacker, and Ethical Hacking Practical Course.
These courses were created in collaboration with experts from Georgia, Germany, and computer science professors. Successful participants who complete the course will receive a certificate from Kutaisi International University (KIU) and graduates with the best results will be awarded an international certification voucher to obtain EC-Council’s certification. Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants (EC-Council) is the world's largest cyber security technical certification body, operating in 145 countries globally.
Teaching is conducted in a hybrid mode, combining in-person classes on the Kutaisi International University campus with online sessions.
The training sessions are conducted in English and Georgian.
