Kutaisi International University is announcing a call for applications to participate in Winter School 2022. The goal of the school is to introduce high school students to some advanced topics of Mathematics and Computer Science and their applications in Business, Science, and Technologies.
Winter School 2022 is initiated under the grant competition of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, and is implemented with joint financial support of Kutaisi International University and Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.
Classes will be held on 10th – 14th of January (the dates may be the subject to change due to the current situation), every day from 10:30 till 18:30, except for January 14.
Lectures will be delivered by highly reputable and leading national and international academic personnel of the School of Math and Computer Science at KIU.
The classes will be conducted in a hybrid model, in Georgian and English Languages.
The lectures conducted by international professors will be translated by the key staff of the School of Math and Computer Science and/or the project, as needed. The participants will be awarded with certificates.
High school students (11th-12th grade) are eligible to participate in Winter School 2022.
The number of students: 40
The School of Math and Computer Science explicitly encourages applications from regions.
