Martin Leroch is Professor of Economics and Ethics since fall 2020. His research mainly falls into the domains of Institutional Economics, Behavioural Economics, and Ethics & Economics.
Before joining Pforzheim University, he was employed as an Economist and Consultant at Lademann & Associates GmbH, Hamburg, most recently as a Manager. His role included the preparation of expert witness reports for private damage proceedings, most importantly estimations of damages accruing from violations of competition law.
After gaining his diploma in Economics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, Martin Leroch received his doctorate degree from the University of Hamburg, where he was also employed as postdoctoral researcher. His thesis consisted of several papers on Institutional Economics and Law & Economics.
Over the years, Martin Leroch held several external lectureships both domestically and abroad (namely in India and Ethiopia), covering various topics, from Global Economy, over Microeconomics, Game Theory to Law & Economics. He also held a position of deputy professorship for Economics, especially Microeconomics and Public Economics at the Martin-Luther-University, Halle.
